Per this first edit, "Although the video was freely license, the channel OneNews was blocked because of violating the Community Guidelines of YouTube. I doubt the channel may be reusing other's video without asking the permission, the file's copyright status is suspicious 220.246.171.244 05:07, 23 May 2022 (UTC)".   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 18:10, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Per this second edit, " Keep There are plenty of reasons a YouTube channel can be blocked that have nothing to do with copyright status, from publishing political content YouTube doesn't like, to simple error. OneNews Malaysia is the source of these videos (I'm pretty sure I could see their logo on the interviewer microphone at the time, for example) is https://www.onenews.my/ - it still has a YouTube link on its page that goes to https://www.youtube.com/user/malaysia1news which is this YouTube channel. Here is that channel this image came from, archived https://web.archive.org/web/20210420050319/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpJQ0cy3v-qRfVAchwacgqQ you can see "https://www.youtube.com/user/malaysia1news" in the box at the top, showing one is a redirect to the other. The IP user who nominated this image for deletion spent their time nominating every OneNews Malaysia image separately, which is a shame, since I now need to go to each nomination separately to refute it. IP user, your heart is in the right place, but next time, can you please:
  1. Make a single nomination for all these images, so we can discuss them all in one place, without having to copy and paste, and
  2. Get a user account, again so we can discuss all your work in one place?
Thank you. --GRuban (talk) 13:05, 23 May 2022 (UTC)".   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 18:08, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Per this third edit, "An IP user, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/220.246.171.244 made something like 50 separate deletion requests for images from OneNews Malaysia, a Malaysian television station, on the grounds that its YouTube channel has been blocked. They're all in Commons:Deletion requests/2022/05/23. I think they're wrong, as described in Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Fikry_Ibrahim_for_"Go_Eat".jpg, but in any case, is there a way we can group all these deletion requests into one, so we can discuss them all together? --GRuban (talk) 13:14, 23 May 2022 (UTC)"[reply]
Keep per the arguments at Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Fikry_Ibrahim_for_"Go_Eat".jpg (the second and third edits listed above).   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 18:09, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There are also files from OneNews that both of you, @GRuban: and @Jeff G.: forgot to oversee them. Here is the list:

Another DR involving OneNews Commons:Deletion requests/File:Governor Yoshimura in 2021.jpg was ended up deleted. There are several reasons for a YouTube channel to be terminated, not solely being copyright violation. However, it may probably raised COM:PCP concern because we don't know the exact reason why this channel was terminated. I'm neutral, perhaps leaning very  Weak delete on this. --A1Cafel (talk) 08:01, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Yeeno, Yann from that DR.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 10:55, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: I did not mention this in the intial DR, but I was already skeptical of the file's status before discovering the termination since, as a Malaysian channel, it is unlikely the channel holds copyright for footage of an event in Japan. However, the video itself is gone for good, so we can't know for sure. I can't comment on the rest of the files above, as they mostly feature Malaysian subjects. most of the video is archived in archive.org Regards, Jeromi Mikhael (marhata) 07:06, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Keep This channel got taken down for non-compliances with Community Guidelines and copyright is not one of them. Usually copyright problems results in a single video getting demonetized/taken down. Copyright problems won't take down an entire channel. --Regards, Jeromi Mikhael (marhata) 07:12, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. I do not know for what reasons the channel was taken down. The reasons to close a channel, per https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9288567?hl=en are very serious. It can be impersonation, scams, harassment, hate speech, etc. I think these are serious enough to remove the material from Commons. But @Jeromi Mikhael: , can you show the source why this channel was taken down? It is not clear to me, and it could also be copyright violations. When searching on Google I do not find much information about this channel, so I think it is not a trustworthy news channel anyway. Therefore I am in favor for deletion of the material (actually I deleted some files on basis of other DR's already. Ellywa (talk) 22:50, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
