I’ve been meaning to listen to this album. Will start the review in a couple days.

@Iostn: So it appears that the reviewer has taken... quite a while longer than a couple days. If you would like me to, I'd be willing to take over this review and probably get it done fairly quickly. Your thoughts? λ NegativeMP1 01:15, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

That would be fine, although I might need to do some quick work to see if there's any extra details I could add Iostn (talk) 06:42, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Alright, lemme know whenever you do that and I'll take a look afterwards. λ NegativeMP1 18:16, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
@NegativeMP1 It should be ready now Iostn (talk) 18:52, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm not even going to ask how I didn't get the notification for this, I'm sorry. I'll take a look as soon as possible. λ NegativeMP1 20:18, 15 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Lead could use some more work to give it a little more meat. I'd say start by adding a sentence or so about the background/production.
  • Is it possible to split Background into two paragraphs?
  • I think there should be a sample of one of the tracks off the album, so that it's possible to accurately understand what the music in the album sounds like. I'm pretty sure it would meet NFCC.
  • I don't really know how much the quote box helps here?
  • "The tunes are infectious, the harmonies adventurous yet eminently satisfying. And the lyrics (which Columbia has wisely printed on the jacket) are the best thing of all", wrote Barret Hansen in his 1968 review for Rolling Stone." → "In his 1968 review, Barret Hansen of Rolling Stone wrote that "the tunes are infectious, the harmonies adventurous yet eminently satisfying. And the lyrics (which Columbia has wisely printed on the jacket) are the best thing of all", wrote Barret Hansen in his 1968 review for Rolling Stone." Consistency.
  • When rewriting the article for Wake Me Up When September Ends, I found several sources from Far Out that I wasn't sure if I could use or not. I'm uncertain on the sites reliability, though if you think it is then I'd say it's fine.
  • Release history table needs sources. Sourcing the personnel and track lists would also help, even if its just citing the album itself.
  • Spotchecked sources 5, 22, and 28. All verify the text I checked for.
  • Not required, but alt text on the images would be nice.

Overall, this is a pretty well written article and I don't have too many complaints. I'll put this on hold for now to give you time to address the comments I did have. λ NegativeMP1 17:38, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
