DRV result[edit]

Hi,

This was one of those cases that was complex procedurally, but has a very simple practical solution. The deleted article had verifiability problems, quite possibly because its title was misspelled. Based on everybody's argeement the article's title produced an unverifiable product, I couldn't in good-faith reverse the deletion. I was also concerned by the number of newer commenters who appeared at the DRV -- sometimes, lots of new editors appearing is a sign of a dubious topic. For these reasons, procedurally, I endorsed the deletion... and waited.

I assumed that if the article was truly valuable, an editor would come forward and offer to write a new draft at the correct title, with proper sources. JzG (who endorsed the deletion) also made the same offer. Since you have expressed an interest, I will now userfy the content to you, and you may make whatever changes are necessary including the addition of sources. Practically, you may resurrect the article under the new title.

I didn't approach anyone about the userfication because the article's history can only be userfied to one person at a time. I waited for an editor (turns out it is you) to come to me as a way of ensuring that only a really interested editor would rewrite the draft. Best wishes, Xoloz 08:28, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The page is now userfied here: User:TriColor/Nandini Rajendran. Xoloz 08:33, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
