In hac rara imagine est magnetar Swift J1818.0–1607 (violaceum), quod iuvenissimum? astronomi putant (circa 500 annis in Telluris tempore). Est etiam velocissimum adhuc inventum (rotatio circa quaterdeciens in temporis decasecundo iterat, vel 1.4 Hz).
SGR 1900+14 est mollis radiationis gamma iteratrum quo astronomi latēre magnetar putant.

Magnetar (-aris, n., portmanteau ab Anglico magnet + star, stella magnetica), est stella neutronica extremo campo magnetico (ab ∼109 T usque ~1011 T). Ante mensem Iulium anni 2021, viginti quattuor magnetaria nota sunt.

Exsistentia magnetarium a Ruperto Duncan ac Christophoro Thomson anno 1992 proposita est ad mollis radiationis gamma iteratra claranda.[1][2] Quae coniectura sequentibus annis recepta est, et extenta ad pulsaria enormium radiorum Roentgenianorum explicanda.
