Deleted topic

A to pic of mine was deleted, apparently because it was "outside scope". Before deleting it I should have been warned and given a chance to copy my text and take it to where it would NOT be outside scope. Janosabel (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

Sorry, I spent half an hour trying (without success) to find the first stern announcement about the deletion. I hoped that the system would keep track of these things. The deletion decision came from meta wiki or media wiki. The text was in Wikiversity (I think).

The Meta-Wiki block log is at Special:Log/delete, but that's only for Meta. --SHB2000 (t • c) 12:16, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

OK, I found a deletion log in Wikipedia but does not show anything for janosabel between the likely dates of May 28/1 June Janosabel (talk) 12:18, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Comment special:centralauth/janosabel there are 00s of WPs, you need to be quite precise with your statements for the best direction. At the Wiki of interest, please search for their "Wikipedia:Admininstrators' noticeboard" and raise your issue there.  — billinghurst sDrewth 11:51, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
