Codex Freerianus

De Codex Freerianus, (Gregory-Aland no. I of 016), is een van de Bijbelse handschriften. Het dateert uit de 5e eeuw, en is geschreven met hoofdletters (uncialen) op perkament. De gehele Codex Freerianus bestaat uit 84 bladen (25 x 20 cm). Het bevat de brieven van Paulus met lacunes (Rom ontbreken)[1].
De Codex representeert de Alexandrijnse tekst (met Byzantijnse invloeden), Aland plaatste de codex in Categorie II[1].
Het handschrift bevindt zich in de Smithsonian Institution (Freer Gallery of Art, 06.275), in Washington[1].
