World Draughts Federation
The World Draughts Federation (WDF) is the organisation which administers draughts throughout the world. It was created in 1947.[better source needed] In the French language it is called Fédération Mondiale du Jeu de Dames (FMJD). The WDF has organised the world draughts championships since 1948.
