Tupou VI (Tongan: ‘Aho‘eitu ʻUnuakiʻotonga Tukuʻaho; born 12 July 1959) is the current King of Tonga. He is the younger brother of King George Tupou V, who was the previous King. He became King on 18 March 2012.

Before he became King, he served as the country's Prime Minister from 3 January 2000 until 11 February 2006, when he resigned. He then served as the country's High Commissioner to Australia from 2008 until 2012, when he became King. During this time, he lived in Canberra before moving back to Tonga in 2012.
