Václav Vorlíček

Václav Vorlíček (3 June 1930 – 5 February 2019) was a Czech movie director. He was born in Prague. His best known works were Who Wants to Kill Jessie?, The End of Agent W4C and The Girl on the Broomstick. His career began in 1953. He worked with screenwriter Miloš Macourek many times.[1] He directed several children's and fairytale movies.

Vorlíček died on 5 February 2019 at a hospital in Prague from lung cancer, aged 88.[2]
