Oste

Oste is a river in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Elbe. Oste is 156 km (97 mi) long.

The Oste flows through the districts of Harburg, Rotenburg, Stade and Cuxhaven and ends into the Elbe river near Otterndorf. It has a drainage area of 1.715 square kilometres (0.662 sq mi).
