Novel "BeatGeek" Jannusi[redigera | redigera wikitext]
Novel Jannusi, known professionally as BeatGeek, is a Swedish/Moroccan record producer and songwriter[1]. His career took off in the late 2000s when he worked closely with the RedOne team[2]. Together they produced countless hit-records for artists as Lady Gaga, Jason Derulo, Backstreet Boys and Jennifer Lopez.

Early Life[redigera | redigera wikitext]
As a drum-programmer and DJ at the most popular clubs of Stockholm, Jannusi´s career took an early start. Later on, at an age of 16, the extrusive producer RedOne brought in Novel and became his mentor. RedOne who has become one of the worlds most well known producers, has worked with some of the biggest stars such as Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Akon, Brandy, Enrique Iglesias, Lionel Richie and Robyn, among others.[3]

The mentorship paid out well and Novel started writing for A-teens with a result of 3,5 million sold albums of “Teen Spirit” in the US during 2001. His feeling for the pop oriented sound has made him a sought after writer and producer and he have had great success with both local and international artists. Among these there is Pop Idol Rosie Ribbons, for whom he wrote and produced the song “Blink” which became top three at the UK singles chart, the song also received massive airplay and was #1 on several radio lists. Novel has also been writing and producing for artists as Backstreet Boys, Billie Crawford, No Authority, Kat DeLuna, Flip Side and Lionel Richie. In Sweden, Novel has been working with among others Idol Darin, whose album “Flashback” sold gold during its first week.[3]

Besides RedOne, Novel has had successful collaborations with Anthor Birginsson, Max Martin and Rami, the last two are both part of the talented Swedish team Cheiron and Maratone.
Currently, Novel is moving towards the A&R and entrepreneur business. At the moment he is working on various projects where the ambition is to seek new upcoming artists and, at the same time mentoring producers.[3]
