This image is applicable for PD-text, PD-ROC-exempt. Please be noted all similar files shall be deleted (i.e.Category:Logos_of_rail_transport_companies_of_Taiwan) under the argument as this is causing ambiguous situation. --@assanges (talk | cont | uploads)
This image is applicable for PD-text, PD-ROC-exempt. PD-text applies only to text, which this is not. None of the conditions of PD-ROC-exempt applies. Please be noted all similar files shall be deleted (i.e.Category:Logos_of_rail_transport_companies_of_Taiwan). Taipei Metro allows its works to be used freely, not other rail operators in Taiwan. So yes, unless proven to be free, they should be deleted too. Szqecs (talk) 17:02, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Note that PD-text is applicable for images consists only of simple geometric shapes or text, now I do have doubts about insisting on deletion. --@assanges (talk | cont | uploads) 16:06, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think you are referring to {{PD-textlogo}}. Whether a logo consisting of geometric shapes is "simple" depends on whether it meets the threshold of [Commons:Threshold of originality originality], which depends on the country. In Taiwan, this threshold is low. Works with "minimal creativity" are eligible for copyright protection. Szqecs (talk) 06:08, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
