Nederlands: Beschrijving: Een rood schild, beladen met een kruis, voorzien van krukjes en vergezeld in iedere hoek van een dergelijk kleinder, alles van goud. (Wapenbevestiging bij besluit van de Hoge Raad van Adel d.d. 14-07-1819) Op het schild een heraldische adelskroon. Boven de kroon twee schuddende handen. Het schild rust op twee gekruiste ankers, symbool van de hoop.
Het betreft het wapen van de Schutterij van Den Haag. Deze afbeelding werd gebruikt als illustratie in het blad 'Maandelijkse Nederlandsche Mercurius' van april 1759, pagina 140.English: Description: A red Jerusalem Cross (a cross with four smaller ones surrounding it) on a golden shield. On the shield a heraldic noble crown. Above the crown two shaking hands. The shield rests on two crossed anchors. It is the weapon of the civic guard of The Hague. This image was used as an illustration in the magazine 'Maandelijkse Nederlandsche Mercurius' of April 1759, page 140. Deutsch: Beschreibung: Eine rote Jerusalem-Kreuz (ein Kreuz mit vier kleineren umgebenden ) auf einem goldenen Schild. Auf dem Schild ein heraldische Adels Krone. Über der Krone zwei Hände schütteln. Der Schild ruht auf zwei gekreuzten Ankern.
Es ist die Waffe der Miliz von Den Haag. Dieses Bild wurde als Illustration in der Zeitschrift "Monthly Nederlandsche Mercurius" von April 1759, Seite 140 verwendet.Français : Description: Une croix de Jérusalem rouge (une croix à quatre petits qui l'entourent) sur un écu d'or. Sur l'écu un couronne de noblesse héraldique. Au-dessus de la couronne deux se serrant la main. Le bouclier repose sur deux ancres croisées.
C'est l'arme de la Milice de La Haye. Cette image a été utilisé comme une illustration dans le magazine "mensuel Nederlandsche Mercurius" de Avril 1759, la page 140. |
