Additional prizes are for the participants who earned extra points. The points were obtained from photos that made Featured Pictures, Quality Images, or Valued Images status. Here are the rules for this category.
- Photos that may be nominated as Featured Pictures, Quality Images, or Valued Images are the top ten photos in each theme.
- The points earned are as follows:
- Featured Pictures: 50 points
- Quality and Valued Images: 25 points
- The criteria for Featured Pictures, Quality Images, and Valued Images can be accessed in the links below. Participants need to fully understand the criteria before nominating the images.
- Wikimedia Commons contributors will review the nomination. The committee and juries are not involved during the review process.
- The nomination will take time. The deadline for points submission is 29 February 2024.
