It's been over 30 days and no one checked out the permit. I would like this file to be deleted so I can uploaded properly. --GustavoCza (talk) 18:40, 11 April 2022 (UTC)

The image is now deleted. --Krd 00:18, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

Files uploaded without a license

Hi, Wasn't your bot which used to tag files uploaded without a license? There are currently a large number of files in Category:Media uploaded without a license waiting for a tag. Thanks, Yann (talk) 21:02, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

My bot was tagging some of them as copyvio, and that is fixed now as it appears some category formatting was changed. I think there most be also other bots working on this, but I don't know any details. --Krd 04:49, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

Rezuest. Category:DAKAYAK (rap group)

Hi, more than 30 days have passed and no one has checked the permit. I sent a letter to the specified mail. 10 photos need your permission. I want you to check my request and finally give me full rights to these photos, because I am their author. Here is a link to the category with my photos: Category:DAKAYAK (rap group) --Варвинчанин (talk) 07:56, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Dear, Krdbot

The poster in the File:Kantor Kuwu Desa Dawuan, Tengah Tani, Cirebon.jpg is not copyrighted at all, because the file was published by the Cirebon city government. Which means the poster is in the public domain based on Article 43 of Law 28 of 2014 on copyrights. Dani kurya (talk) 09:26, 11 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi! The picture from Prophet Elias peak in Greece is my own work. I don't understand the problem here. Pavlos1988 (talk) 12:10, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

When should Bots override human judgement?

In this edit this bot called for the speedy deletion of an image that had both a source field, and a valid PD license tag, claiming, incorrectly, it was a copyright violation.

I put that valid PD license tag in the description. Is there a human back there who can explain why this robot would ignore that valid license, and call for speedy deletion? Geo Swan (talk) 18:07, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't notice this request before. Regarding the file, you uploaded it with a "no license" tag yourself, so I think the complaint is not reasonable. --Krd 05:26, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

Closing DRs for deleted files

Krdbot’s user page confirms that it should close DRs for deleted files, but it doesn’t seem to be working. See, for example, Commons:Deletion requests/File:بسمة الاطرش.jpg. I have seen other examples recently. Brianjd (talk) 00:11, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

@Brianjd Not Krd, but the bot is not supposed to close requests where comments have been made. See Commons:Bots/Requests/Krdbot 6. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 00:44, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Ironically, the only comments in the DR I linked were about closing the request. Anyway, I see that the other user who commented at the bot request was also a bit confused, so perhaps a note on Krdbot’s user page would be good. Brianjd (talk) 00:48, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Please suggest how exactly to point this out. --Krd 07:14, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
@Krd Following the existing style of the bot’s user page, you can change the statement as follows:
It also closes deletion requests for files which are already deleted, if no comments were made on the deletion requests.

The bot adding notices to OTRS tickets with a link to where the attached file got uploaded is very useful, thanks for making it! It seems to use some kind of ISO encoding instead of UTF-8, though. Here's an example: ticket:2022102010006404 Tgr (talk) 16:58, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

I hope I have fixed that now. --Krd 05:24, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

Adding VRTS received in all of the images in a category

@Krd, Do we have any solution to this? It is very difficult to add VRTS received manually to 101 images listed at Category:First ISOTR Release by NDEC. There should be something which can help us add VRTS received on all the images in a category by just mentioning a ticket number once. ─ The Aafī (talk) 08:54, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

I think you can do this with the VisualFileChange gadget, or I can yo it for you by my own scripts. --Krd 08:56, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
@Krd Thank you, I've added it manually but I feel I'd need your assistance in adding permissions once I complete working on the ticket. ─ The Aafī (talk) 09:19, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
You're welcome. --Krd 09:20, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Hey @Krd, I added the permissions using Visual Change but unfortunately it didn't remove the "VRTC received tag". Could you please help with that? 101 images and manually removing the tag is big task and time-consuming. ─ The Aafī (talk) 19:03, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
Fixed. ─ The Aafī (talk) 21:24, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
