File tagging File:Kabeer-kumar.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.

Thanks for uploading File:Kabeer-kumar.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT ([email protected]). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Kabeer-kumar.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File:Yash-Mistry.webp has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

File:Rishi Verma.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

File copyright status
[edit] Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your recent file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you.

== Your message ==
Hi. Following your message "open for the public view" doesn't mean nothing for Commons since almost everything you find on the Internet is the property of someone. So either these images are published under a valid license or it's up to you to obtain a permission from the copyright holder for copyrighted images. All other images are copyrighted and you are not allowed to upload them here. Kind regards, --Patrick Rogel (talk) 17:25, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

[edit]You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently uploading media that is in violation of Commons' licensing policy, despite our warnings not to do so, and despite our instructions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|your reason here}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See block log.
(toolbox: contributions • page moves)

Unfortunately, allowing you to upload images here is a risk we cannot take. Your previous block did not change anything and by your own admission you are "not one to give up". At this point, I'm afraid blocking you indefinitely until you can show that you understand copyright and our licensing policy is our only option. --Majora (talk) 23:58, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
unblock
[edit]i did say that i'm someone who does not give up and i don't want to give up until i'm unblocked, first of all i had no idea of screenshot licencing policy, it was nowhere in the guidelines given in the earlier warnings, you can look it up yourself, so if you had given warning before blocking me then i assure that i would not have uploaded screenshots once again, but it is too much that you have blocked me without any pre-notice of the reason. Moreover i had uploaded this image only after my last block was removed, all the previous images were not any screenshots, they were taken from random websites, so how is the block just when i had no idea about screen shot licencing
--Lisamol (talk) 05:19, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Lisamol
- It is quite obvious that you did not read nor understand our licensing policy. You also lied and stated that the image was your "own work" when clearly it was not. It is pretty clear that you do not understand copyright and allowing you to upload here is a danger to the project. You will not be unblocked until you can prove to us that you understand copyright and what is and isn't acceptable here. Sorry, that is just the way it has to be. --Majora (talk) 20:27, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
- I did not lie, i though that screenshots are considered to an individual's own resource because it is that person who decides when to take the shot is to be taken. Secondly, how do you want me to prove to you that I understand copyright and what is and isn't acceptable here when i'm blocked, until and unless i can upload the next image with full copyrights and licences.
--Lisamol (talk) 03:27, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Lisamol
- You would have known screenshots are not ok if you read our licensing policy. It's in there. You will not be unblocked until you can convince us you understand copyright. How you do that is up to you but continuing to prove that you did not even read one of our most basic policies is not really a good path to take. --Majora (talk) 03:35, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
- i did read all the basic policies carefully but i do not have a photostat memory, but why is that i was not even given a warning before getting blocked for screenshots, isn't that also written in the policies.
--Lisamol (talk) 08:41, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Lisamol
- Obviously not. You were warned, repeatedly, not to upload copyright violations. You were blocked previously for continuing to do so despite those warnings and immediately after your block expired you uploaded another copyright violation. You've exhausted all your warnings. You don't get any more just because you uploaded a different variant of a copyright violation. That's not how this works. It is still a copyvio and your persistence in uploading them is what got you indefinitely blocked. Please stop arguing the grounds for this block. If you want to get unblocked follow COM:BLOCK#Appealing a block. As also stated above, this is not a forum where you can continue to make unresponsive responses until you get the answer you want. --Majora (talk) 11:05, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
- When will my block period get over since you have marked blocked indefinitely???
