Horror film on Wikipedia

Dear Nightscream I have a request for you for the article horror film on Wikipedia can you restore the 2010s section and the 2020s section? 107.122.97.8 03:40, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

I don't know why you contacted me here, rather than on Wikipedia, but I have replied to your question on my Wikipedia talk page. Nightscream (talk) 16:35, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

I couldn't be able to reach on Wikipedia my wifi is no good and also they did not give us a reason why they removed the 2010s and 2020s sections since they didn't give us a reason then there's no reason to have a 2010s to present section so can you restore the 2010s section and the 2020s section for the horror film article on Wikipedia? 107.122.97.14 17:00, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Your WiFi has nothing to do with it. You couldn't contact me on WP because you were blocked there. Do you imagine that I wouldn't check on this?
Why are you bouncing around from one project to another? You initiated an exchange with me on Wikiquote, but instead of responding to my last message to you there, you're now posting here. Stop it. Pick a project, and stick with it.
Please provide the diff showing the edit. 17:07, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

When there was a 2010s section and a 2020s section everything was fine so if you restore then everything will be fine again. 107.122.97.18 17:08, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

How am I supposed to restore it when I don't know when it was in the article, and when it removed, or which edit is the one with which it was removed?
One more time: Can. You. Please. Provide. The. Diff. Showing. Its. Removal.
Last time I'm going to ask. Nightscream (talk) 17:11, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

In other words can you split 2010s-present into 2010s and 2020s? 166.205.141.46 17:17, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

The 2010s and 2020s sections were removed about 4 weeks ago they were their own decade section each so can you bring back the 2010s section and the 2020s section for the horror film article on Wikipedia on its history section. 166.205.141.46 17:24, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

On Wikipedia the horror film article is not the same without the 2010s section and the 2020s section. 166.205.141.46 17:31, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Why won't you respond to my request for the diff? Nightscream (talk) 17:36, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
File:6.2.11RobertoTorresByLuigiNovi1.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Thank you! (And that's coming from a fellow cat lover.) Is it low-carb? :-) Nightscream (talk) 18:57, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

Category:Spider-Man

These two are about two completely different subjects. That redirect is highly inappropriate --Trade (talk) 22:50, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

@Trade:
Which redirect?
Why is it inappropriate? Nightscream (talk) 22:53, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
That one category you just made to a redirect in the title. What else?--Trade (talk) 23:05, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
I didn't make just "one".
And even if this was not clear to you from my question above, why didn't you answer my second question, which might've provided me the answer to the first? Nightscream (talk) 01:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

Trump/McDougal

Sorry about that mix-up and thanks for catching it. The categories on the photo indicated that it was her and it looked enough like her that I had no reason to question it. Denniscabrams (talk) 13:32, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

@Denniscabrams: No worries. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 15:23, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
Category discussion warning

Actors by role has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

The file names of my images and their derivatives

Hi. Please do not play games with edits on images within the community. I understand that you had the original file that you contributed to Commons, however after that you need to edit to our rules. Please see Com:File naming. You have been credited with the file, then after than we have clear measures and guidance to how we manage duplicates. Your demands are not part of that guidance. Thanks.  — billinghurst sDrewth 11:36, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

If you wish to then go to something different, then please have that discussion and seek a consensus at Com:Village pump.  — billinghurst sDrewth 11:38, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
Please do not presume to lecture me on "playing games" with images. It's my photograph, I decide what the file name structure is, and you damn well reverted it, even after I made this clear when I uploaded the correctly-named derivative. (Funny how my revert somehow counts as "edit warring" but yours does not.) The only one "playing games with edits on images" -- which I assume is your code for being obnoxious -- is you. I decide the file name, you do not, period. We do not need a "consensus" on that, merely common courtesy, nor does reverting it constitute "vandalism", as you mendaciously stated here.
