Colditz is a small city in Germany, located between Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz with a population of approx. 5,500. The Colditz Castle served as a prison for American, British, Belgian, Dutch, French, Polish, and Yugoslavian high-ranking officers during World War II. It became famous as the "Bad Boys Camp" because there were many attempts to escape, often successful.
