Incorrect license. Uploader is not copyright holder of flag of capital of state. Correct license is needed. Taivo (talk) 09:18, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- Obviously this file was my own work, representing a public domain image. From a copyright perspective, I still own a work which is derivative and transformative (in this case, the work was drawn in vector format for the first time)
- I had every right to release this work into the public domain, and I used the license tag which was most appropriate for the situation 15 years ago. Aliasd (talk) 21:53, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
Kept: with {{PD-Papua New Guinea}}. Per Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Papua New Guinea, works of applied art are protected for a period of 25 years from the making of the work. The en:National Capital District (Papua New Guinea) was established in 1975, and there were reforms in 1995. It's therefore IMO likely that this flag is older than 25 years.
