This not the proposed flag of Assam. Assam doesn't have any proposed flag. Assam also doesn't have any official flag. This file was uploaded by Hosmich, cited https://flagspot.net/flags/in-as.html , there Antonio Martins was the uploader, that site cites http://www.army.mod.uk/army/organise/infan/gurkha/index.htm, which is unavailable, it is the royal Gurkha rifles site. The pattern in the middle of the flag is made by intersection of two Gurkha poniards/knives/daggers. The background is red, while the Tactical Recognition Flash of royal Gurkha rifles is similar but with green background : see Royal Gurkha Rifles. - দিব্য দত্ত (talk) 11:45, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
