This file was initially tagged by Nawaz2400 as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2111811279067475&id=100007158692719&set=a.1375703592678251&source=11&ref=content_filter

I think this may be some kind of personally targeted, abusive copyvio tagging (see page history), but it needs clarification. Saqib is in the photo, so who is the photographer? I'd also like to see the original file with EXIF metadata. Guanaco (talk) 20:48, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Guanaco: This FB profile is fake. Someone is trying to impersonate me. The photograph was took by someone but the rights belong to me. --Saqib (talk) 05:52, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The FB link doesn't even load here so I don't mind ignoring that. @Saqib: who took it? Please note that Commons:Own work/Bystander selfie isn't policy. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 07:11, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Will get the permission. --Saqib (talk) 07:53, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment The first and second comment by Saqib appears to be contradictory. In the first comment, they said "The photograph was took by someone but the rights belong to me." and another response, they said "Will get the permission.". Saqib, Why do you think you need a permission to use what belongs to you? Do you mean the FB account user has been inpersinating you for over 5 years now? When did you learn about this impersonation? Do you have other facebook account (please not that you are not under any obligation to declare your facebook account here) ? When last did you login on the account? The account you called fake was registered on facebook in 2013 (the same year you registered on Commons) and followed by a Wikipedian who has at least 80 mutual friends with me on facebook. Regards. @T Cells: I just saw your comments now. Yes the photo was took by someone using my phone so I thought the rights belong to me. Anyways, I've asked the original photographer to send the permission. I hope xe will do soon soon. I think someone renamed this FB recently to impersonate me - the photo was posted there on 3 September. By the way my name is not Saquib Qureshi and I don't use FB. Anything else? --Saqib (talk) 09:47, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This sort of thing happens all the time during a Wikimedia events. It's fine, we just want to be on a saver side. Happy editing. T Cells (talk · contribs · email) 13:07, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: OTRS permission has arrived. --Guanaco (talk) 17:50, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
