Support Unusual close-up view of the Elizabeth Tower's clock face (aka Big Ben). -- ★ 14:17, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
Comment I'm not convinced we should have this nice image as an FP as the clock face was recently restored and looks very different. I other words, it's one of many versions but not a particularly notable one. Charlesjsharp (talk) 14:37, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
Support Very sharp, good composition. even if the clock changed, why not featuring it before the change? Yann (talk) 09:43, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Comment For a perfect encyclopedia, we should ideally have one FP of every version of the clock face on such a notable building. What a great timeline that would make for the article. This excellent photo is a good start. --Cart (talk) 12:33, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- The file name and description could helpfully indicate it is a historical image. Charlesjsharp (talk) 14:14, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- The info and reference have been added to the description on the file page. It's up to Ermell to perhaps add the "as of 2009" to the file name when the nom is done. --Cart (talk) 15:46, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Support Thanks for the nom ArionStar. Ermell (talk) 05:39, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Support Bummer that this image is outdated since the clocks were painted dark blue, but still good nonetheless. --Zzzs (talk) 15:59, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Look at it from the bright side: The new clock face is there to be photographed any day now, this historic face can't be photographed again. Do you call a photo of Manhattan with the Twin Towers outdated or an historical documentation that we are lucky to have? --Cart (talk) 18:09, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
