Th L after a goodly Methodist missionary, Mr. Rundle, who ministered to the needs of theIndians on the Stony Reserve) to the banks of the Bow river, a distance of about eight miles. On this drive a splendid view of the Bow falls is obtainable. The rapids are eighty feet wide at the confluence of the Spray and Bow rivers. On Sulphur mountain, two and a half miles by roadfrom the bridge, are the head-waters ofHot the Hot Springs, situated about 800 feet Springs, above Banff. At this point the Dominiongovernment has erected a most completebathing establishment, including hot tub baths, steamrooms, hot and cold showers, sweat rooms, and a largeswimming pool. The sulphur water gushes from theside of the mountain, fifty or sixty feet above the levelof the road, whence it is supplied at a natural tempera-ture to the bath house and the two hydropathicestablishments located here. The water is of greatermedicinal strength than at the Cave and Basin. Thegovernment charge for a bath is 35 cents.
