Description

Artistic photography is a new art in relation to the classical arts, and therefore, it is only natural that photographers try to differentiate it from classical arts in general and from painting in particular. One major difference between painting and photography is that in photography there is extreme importance to black and white, while in painting even if there are some black and white paintings they don't belong to any known category . Perhaps that's why many contemporary photographers take pictures only in black and white. In addition, in the first decades, during which artistic photography was designed and its principles were set - there was not color photography.
