Description
English: NASA's Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) satellite launched from Kennedy Space Center on June 24, 1999 at 11:44 am EDT on a Boeing Delta II rocket. The purpose of the mission was to observe the universe using far-ultraviolet spectroscopy. FUSE examined the evolution of galaxies, stars, and planetary systems. The FUSE mission was ended on October 18, 2007.
