Description
Deutsch: Geburtshaus von Josef Mitterdorfer (1785—1835), Domstiftanwalt der Herrschaft Gurk in Olschnitz Nr. 1 beim Oberen Lindner (heute Madritschhof) in Olschnitz-Lind bei Straßburg am Mödringbergzug in den Gurktaler Alpen in Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. 8 Personen stehen im Frühjahr (Schneereste am Boden) vor dem gemauerten Bauernhof. Zwei davon sind vermutlich der Bauer, die Bäurin und eines ihrer Kinder. Die anderen Personen sind vermutlich Dienstboten (Mägde und Knechte). Zwei angeschirrte Pferde stehen mit den Leuten vorm Haus. Rechts vorne im Bild ein Holzschlitten, wie er für den Transport von Heu oder Baumstämmen im Winter verwendet wurde.
English: Birthplace of Josef Mitterdorfer (1785—1835), Cathedral chapter lawyer of the Gurk lordship in Olschnitz Nr. 1 (nowadays Madritschhof) in Olschnitz-Lind near Straßburg, in the Gurktal Alps Carinthia / Austria / EU. 8 people stand in front of the walled farmhouse in spring (snow on the ground). Two of them are probably the farmer, the farmer's wife and one of their children. The other persons are probably servants. Two harnessed horses stand with them. On the right front of the picture a wooden sledge, as it was used for the transport of hay or tree trunks in winter.
