Description
English: (1 in a multiple picture set)

This cabin on Jenny Lake, at the base of the Teton, was originally used by Kenneth Reimer who took over the boat concession on the lake in 1935 (the boating goes back to 1920). He was also caretaker for the area. It must have been a beautiful place to live in the summer, but would have been nearly covered in snow during the winter.
It is now a bookstore used by the National Park Service.

Jenny Lake may be the prettiest setting for any body of water in the USA.
