Description

Perto da Rua da Mouraria, a Igreja da Misericórdia não passa despercebida ao visitante atento. Edifício original do século XVI, possui um deslumbrante portal manuelino radiado. São da mesma época o cruzeiro frente ao portal e as imagens de Cristo e Nossa Senhora, parte integrante da decoração do interior da igreja.

A capela-mor possui um retábulo em talha do século XVIII, onde são visíveis duas valiosas imagens do século XVI, uma delas de alabastro, proveniente do antigo Convento da Graça, de que hoje pouco existe. <a href="http://viajar.clix.pt/tesouros.php?id=387&lg=pt">viajar.clix.pt/tesouros.php?id=387&lg=pt</a>
