Description |
English: Attic red-figure oinochoe (wine jug) used for the Athenian festival of Anthesteria, in honour of Dionysos. Represents a young boy pulling another boy's chariot; maybe a parody of the hierogamy performed during the festival. Terracotta, ca. 430–390 BC.
