Description
English: The Newport Family, circa 1913, one of the first families to settle Menifee, California. In Menifee, Newport Road is named after the family patriarch, William "Billy" Newport (far left), who helped transform Menifee into what it is today. Also pictured are his wife Mary Kathryn (woman on the right), his daughter Mary Catharine (center) standing in front of her brother Lloyd. The other men are family friends.
