Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe impact of lymphangiogenesis in transplant arteriosclerosis.png | Figure 5. The impact of lymphangiogenesis in transplant arteriosclerosis. After vascular transplantation, the immediate recognition of donor artery components progressively induces immunological rejection response. After injecting a highly selective inhibitor for VEGFR3, the inhibition of lymphangiogenesis effectively suppresses the cellular adaptive immunity, and further ameliorates neointimal hyperplasia, adventitial fibrosis, and teritary lymphoid organs’ (TLOs) formation in vascular allografts. Resultantly, an immunosuppressive circle was reasonably achieved by the negative lymphangiogenesis manipulating. LEC: lymphatic endothelial cell. |
