. EveryEgyptian was supposed to be acquainted with the formulae, from having learned Drawn by Faucher-Gudin, after Kosellini, Monument! Civili, pi. cxxvi. 4, 5. = Maspero, Etudes de Mythologie, etc., vol. i. p. 274; this whole description is based on the royalmummies of Deir el-Baliari, and some score of other Theban mummies of the XX or XXI dynastydiscovered from 1881 to 1886.
