Português: Teatro físico é um conceito teatral que descreve um trabalho onde o eixo central é a fisicidade do artista cênico em primeiro plano no resultado estético final de uma performance, sendo que normalmente os grupos que se definem como teatro físico trabalham com texto falado em uma dramaturgia linear ou não, mas como o suporte de outras linguagens, tais como: mímica, dança teatro, acrobacia sole e aérea, entre outras.

Nederlands: Bewegingstheater is een vorm van theater waarbij wordt uitgegaan van de fysieke capaciteiten van de uitvoerenden (spelers, dansers). De bewegingen worden in combinatie met de verbeelding, omgezet in een soort fysieke beeldtaal.
Italiano: Il teatro fisico è un genere di rappresentazione teatrale che persegue la narrazione di storie essenzialmente attraverso mezzi fisici. Varie tradizioni rappresentative descrivono sé stesse come "teatro fisico", ma l'aspetto unificante è l'affidarsi al movimento fisico degli interpreti piuttosto che, o combinato con, il testo per trasmettere la storia. Fondamentalmente, si parla attraverso i gesti delle mani, il linguaggio del corpo, il percorso del pensiero e molte altre caratteristiche fisiche.
Ελληνικά: Το σωματικό θέατρο είναι ένα είδος θεατρικής παράστασης που περιλαμβάνει την αφήγηση κυρίως μέσω της σωματικής κίνησης και όχι (τόσο) μέσα από το κείμενο.
Català: El teatre físic és una tècnica d'interpretació teatral que es va començar al segle XIX i que es caracteritza per construir els personatges i les seves emocions mitjançant les accions. Amb aquesta tècnica, els actors poden treballar en monòlegs, diàlegs i en tota mena d'obres teatrals, clàssiques o modernes. |
