Congratulations, dear license reviewer

If you use the helper gadget, you will find the links next to the search box (vector) or as single tabs (monobook). They are named license+ and license-.

Hi Contributor2020, thanks for your request for license reviewer status. The request has been closed as successful, and you've been added to the list of reviewers. You can now start reviewing files – please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. We also have a guide how to detect copyright violations. Potential backlogs include Flickr review and files from other sources. You can enable the LicenseReview gadget from Preferences.

Important: You should not review your own uploads, nor those of anyone closely related to you!

Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikimedia-commons webchat on irc.libera.chat. You can also add {{User license reviewer}} to your user page if you wish. Thank you for your contributions on Commons! FitIndia Semi-retired 17:19, 19 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Done, Aurelio de Sandoval. Contributor2020Talk to me here! 04:39, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Contributor2020 Please be careful when reviewing images, I have nominated both of them for deletion given the fact that they are likely copyvios. See license review and license laundering for things you should check for when reviewing. Again, please check more than just the surface. Thank you, Seawolf35 (talk) 13:28, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am really, really sorry Seawolf35. This is completely my fault. My inability to check other uploads of the user was as the request came from another fellow license reviewer, but it is complete failure on my part. I will completely make sure this never, ever happens again. Contributor2020Talk to me here! 13:50, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
A friendly reminder. Don't rush at all. The backlog is definitely huge. But you can pause for a while, go through and read all policies. Just focus on quality and not on quantity. Still, if you have doubts you can ask or leave it for others. Thanks for your consideration. C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 17:33, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the advice. I am doing the same. Contributor2020Talk to me here! 08:45, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Multiple DRs

edit

When you post more than two or three DRs of related subjects as you did with File:N837JM at KHPN.jpg, please use Visual File Change. It is much faster for you and for the closing Admin. Thank you, .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 14:05, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Jameslwoodward, thank your for your advice. Even though I don't use the tool and it may help me in the future, the file linked was not nominated for deletion by me, rather it was marked as   Keep by me. I don't think so that the tool could be used for executing mass keep. Anyways still, thank you for the recommendation and will surely try it when I can. Contributor2020Talk to me here! 14:37, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for picking off the wrong player -- you can do custom replacements with the tool, which would include a mass keep, but Admins use DelReqHandler which also has a mass keep or delete function. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 18:54, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
