The article mentions that the two units merged in 1968. I'm interested in any official reference to this date as there is some uncertainty. There is a Canadian Forces Organization Order (CFOO) for 1 Signal Squadron as an independent unit dated 12 March 1969 but the CFOO was shown as cancelled in Dec 1970.... yet, it 1972 an offical message was released announcing the merger of the two units effective 1 Dec 1972. The message may have been 'administrative' cleanup but I'm interested in any concrete evidence on when the two units started to operate as one.J Costello (talk) 00:26, 27 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
