Talk Page Rules

Welcome to my talk page! Before you leave a message, please consider reading the rules of this talk page... This notice is not a time-waster, and I suggest everyone read this. This contains no common-sense rules.

  1. Please do not bring discussions here from other pages. If the conversation started on your talk page, it should stay on your talk page.
  2. Please use diffs(click for more info) when talking about edits.
  3. If you leave me a message on my talk page, I will reply on my talk page, so you may want to watch this page. I will not continue to watch a talk page if the discussion has migrated.
  4. I don't always check my watchlist, so you may have to ping me.
  5. Some users get in-depth responses, and some don't. It depends how much caffeine and/or cannabis I've consumed in the past day (this is targeted as a joke, though does reflect reality). If you get a short response, I'm just tired (as always), but please know that no less effort has been put into your situation.
  6. Always advocate for yourself if you don't feel like my decision is right. I revert tons of people's edits, and accept/decline lots of articles. If you don't like my decision, advocate for yourself by posting a talk page message!

Please note that the response to your talk message may be delayed, based on other people's messages, what I'm doing, and so many other factors. Please be patient and understanding when it comes to expecting responses.

Remove Navid Jamshidi's tag

edit

@OnlyNano

Hello dear Wikipedia administrator Navid jamshidi is a famous Iranian journalist whose article has been tagged as propaganda and the sources have been verified. Can you remove the delete tag? I corrected the information you said, if possible, please confirm thank you very much dear friend Mobinkhojasteboroumand (talk) 20:07, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article has been wrote twice in a promotional way, I wasn't saying they are propaganda. OnlyNanotalk 13:55, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Tim Chapman

edit

According to Wikipedia, you've been assigned as my mentor. I've been making edits to Tim Chapman but they are being undone by another user. In a series of edits, I added references to unsourced content. This user undid those edits without reason. ~~ SeanMatton (talk) 03:51, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Basically, you are not providing sources to back up your claims. You were also deleting content without explaining why. You need to provide sources, and also provide an edit summary to explain your changes. This should help you from getting your edits reverted! You might want to check out The Wikipedia Adventure to learn how to edit properly. OnlyNanotalk 13:58, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Edit to Boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's 66 kg

edit

Hi. Apologies for writing this on your talk page but it appears to have been removed from my own. I am not censoring information - this information is in fact irrelevant to this particular Olympic game. It is more appropriate for either the athlete's page or else the main Olympics controversy page. It is not relevant to the reason that Carini resigned the fight. She resigned the fight because she said she was hit too hard in her nose. I will defer to you if you believe it to be relevant here. But I felt that it is already outlined more appropriately here and here Khaveman (talk) 14:36, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey there! I read it a couple more times, and I agree with your edit. I removed the warning and comment as I was in the wrong here. That's amazing precision, as it took me a couple times to realize it isn't relevant. Sent ya a barnstar for your work there :) OnlyNanotalk 14:38, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
