Subject fails WP:SPORTCRIT and WP:GNG due to lack of significant coverage. A search per WP:BEFORE did not turn up any significant coverage. I can only find database entries and trivial mentions. 𝕱𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖎𝖆 (talk) 15:15, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

- Considering Raju played over 20 matches for the eighth most-populous country in the world, I would be shocked if there were not coverage in another language. BeanieFan11 (talk) 15:51, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- agreed - but in the absence of Bengali sources...220 results for 'মোনায়েম খান রাজু' on Google News, 13,800 on Google proper. GiantSnowman 16:23, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Delete - no evidence of notability. If any sources are found please ping me. GiantSnowman 16:23, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- possible Keep per [1], [2], [3], those are just some English sources with mentions, however I can't really scan for Bangladeshi sources and the fact there are a number of English sources doesn't negate the lack of Bangladeshi searches. A true WP:BEFORE hasn't been done, because it hasn't been done in the Bangladesh internet sphere. It would greatly help if someone from that country would scan the proper channels for sources. And the fact this player has 22 international caps for a country that does like it's football my guess is there will be sources. Govvy (talk) 23:42, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- I've asked an active Bangladeshi editor here to see if they can uncover anything. Tried to keep the request as neutral as possible, of course! Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:29, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment I found some sources in Bengali: [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]. These are mostly mere mentions of him being named in squads and I cant find any English news sources. Theres a more detailed coverage of him regarding a controversy: [9] but the website shows security warnings when I open it. He also seemed to be the former captain of Chittagong Abahani Limited. I am not familiar with football guidelines in Wikipedia so I cannot tell who is notable here. Thanks. Human (talk) 23:29, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you Human for taking time to have a look for more sources on him. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:54, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Human, there is no football notability guideline anymore, so what is your assessment based on GNG/BIO? JoelleJay (talk) 22:09, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Willing to give this another few days due to language barrier and to discuss whether Human/Govvy's sources are enough.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Star Mississippi 02:22, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment From what I can make out through Google Translate, the first 5 sources provided by Human do not contain significant coverage. The subject is named once or twice in each article, but isn't commented upon in any depth. 𝕱𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖎𝖆 (talk) 05:51, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. Sources uncovered in this AfD are not significant coverage of Raju.

A search for "মোনায়েম খান রাজু" only returned reprints of the above sources (e.g. "Odhikar News", "News Bangla 24", etc. have basically an identical story to the one in Somoy News) and other trivial roster mentions. I am not seeing any SIGCOV of this player anywhere. JoelleJay (talk) 22:09, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. Fails WP:SPORTCRIT and WP:GNG per the cogent source analysis above.4meter4 (talk) 15:58, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
