RfC - Swiss Federal Councillors Infobox

edit

In which of the following ways should infoboxes for Swiss Federal Councillors be organized-

A - Include separate sections for President, Vice President and Federal Councillor (currently used; see Alain Berset and Viola Amherd);
B - Include only one section for "Swiss Federal Councillor" with lines to show years served as President/Vice President (see this old revision [1]); or
C - Same as option B, but include separate sections for the incumbent President and Vice President (listing only the current term) . estar8806 (talk) 17:47, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I personally prefer option C as I feel this gives the best of both worlds. For older terms, it shows that the President and Vice President are really just firsts-among-equals, while also making it easy for readers to see who the incumbent President and Vice President are. estar8806 (talk) 18:20, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

(invited by the bot) I think that those who come here from a broadly broadcast RFC are not going to be "deep in" enough to answer this meaningfully. But I'm against any project RFC that would tend to claim or look to be multi-article authoritative or a mandate. Maybe you should reword as "which is preferred". Women in Green's 5th Edit-a-thon

edit

Hello WikiProject Switzerland:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2023!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2023, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

Gion Caviezel

edit

Any info about this bobsledder? There's no birth date. I found an Italian newspaper (here) in which they say he was an engineer and was suspected of having murdered an Alsatian girl in 1967.-- Carnby (talk) 10:35, 14 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Carnby Several hits on e-newspaperarchives.ch, many of which have him as the headline, and some on the archives of Le Temps. PARAKANYAA (talk) 22:43, 14 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
