Early life and high school

Ersery attended high school at Ruskin located in Kansas City, Missouri. Coming out of high school, Ersery was rated as a three star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.[1][2]

College career

In Ersery's first two collegiate football seasons in 2020 and 2021, he combined to play in two games, while making one start for Minnesota.[3][4] In the 2022 season, Ersery started in all 13 games for the Gophers, earning honorable mention all Big-10.[5][6] During the 2023 season, Ersery played in and started all 13 games at left tackle for the Gophers, where for his performance he was named second team all Big-10.[7][8]
