The team from Belize consisted of one male track and field athlete.[1][2] Belize's only athlete Shaun Gill served as the country's flag bearer during the opening ceremony.[3]

Shaun Gill finished 6th in his heat in the Men's 100 metres, failing to secure a podium finish, resulting in his elimination and missing his only chance at an Olympic medal.
