The only unusual happeningat Wilmington was that a man gave $7,000 to theRed Cross on condition that we played the firstscene of the last act, which we had intended toeliminate in order to ring up on time in Philadel-phia. But in view of an additional $7,000 to thecause we are working for, even Philadelphia willhave to wait. The donors name is Mr. Scott, andI think hes big enough to star with us. Oh, yes!
