Early life and education
editCox attended Grimsley High School in the United States.[1]
Cox attended the University of North Carolina, where she majored in communications, and played for the North Carolina Tar Heels.[2] She concluded her five-year college soccer career with 110 appearances, the most in program history and third-most in NCAA Division I history.[3]
Senior club career
editCox played for New Zealand side Wellington Phoenix.[4]
In July 2024, Cox joined USL Super League club Brooklyn FC.[5]

editCox has been described as a "more attack-minded player that can play anywhere in the front three".[6]
