EMMA for Peace the Euro Mediterranean Music Academy, is a non-profit global umbrella organization for music education and diplomacy: a network of music institutions, philanthropic foundations and universities brought together in the shared interest of music and the promotion of peace in the Middle East regions and the Mediterranean.[1]

Activities

EMMA for Peace founded by cultural entrepreneur Paolo Petrocelli, who has previously worked on the National Italian Commission for UNESCO. EMMA launched to support and promote music education and cultural dialogue across the Middle East and the Mediterranean.[2] Euro Mediterranean Music Academy, is supported by UNESCO. EMMA aims to create a network of music institutions ‘brought together in the shared interest of music and the promotion of peace in the Mediterranean and Middle East regions.[3]
