Elaine Schwartz is a Hollywood, Florida attorney and Democratic politician who serves as the representative for District of the Florida House of Representatives. She was first elected to the Florida House in 2006 and was reelected in 2008.

Representative Schwartz was born in New York, New York on April 13, 1943. She is married to Martin Schwartz who is from Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Florida in 1980. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Hofstra University and her Juris Doctorate from New York University. She is the City Attorney for Hollywood, Florida and served as Democratic Whip from 2006 to 2008.
