Eccles United Football Club, previously known as Eccles Borough, is an English football club based in Eccles, Greater Manchester, England, which participated in the FA Cup.[1][2]

1901 - Founded as Springfield Athletic, joining the North Salford League
1907 - Changed name to Eccles Borough, joining the Manchester League
1915 - Changed name to Eccles United
1928 - Eccles United folded
2020 - New Eccles United club formed to revive the old name
2021 - Joined the Lancashire & Cheshire League
2022 - Joined the Manchester League
