Alex G
Alex G (born Alex Giannoscoli in 1993) is a Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and musician.
Alex G was born in Havertown, Pennsylvania. He has two older siblings, Matt, an accomplished pianist; and Rachel, who introduced him to influences such as Radiohead, Wilco, and Modest Mouse. Giannoscoli began recording music at the age of 13 when his parents purchased a Mac Book computer. While attending Haverford High School, Giannoscoli created two albums with friends.[1]
Giannoscoli enrolled at Temple University, pursuing a major in English. He dropped out in 2014 to pursue a career in music full-time.[1]
