Andrée Boucher (January 31, 1937 - August 24, 2007)[1] was the mayor of Quebec City, Canada. She was elected on November 6, 2005, becoming the first woman mayor in Quebec City's history. She was previously the mayor of Sainte-Foy from 1985 to 2001, until Sainte-Foy was merged with Quebec City, a merger in which she opposed. She also became the first women to be leader of a municipal party when she led the Action Sainte-Foy Party. [1]

She died in the early afternoon on August 24, 2007 of a heart attack while at home.[1]
