Likewise Edomites were actual Canaanites. Article keeps mixing up Arabs and speakers of Old South Arabian, who were not Arabs and their language is more distant to Arabic than Hebrew is, as Hebrew and Arabic are Central Semitic languages, whereas Old South Arabian wasn't..

  • curprev 20:3920:39, 15 February 2024R Prazeres talk contribs 324,059 bytes −1,008 →‎Architecture: Trim paragraph. "Arab-Norman" architecture is very peripheral here. Paragraph was maybe originally a more generic statement, with "Arab-Norman" tacked on later, but even if so, it's unhelpfully generic, one citation is incomplete, and the other citations is not a WP:RS. • curprev 18:5018:50, 15 February 2024Aintabli talk contribs 325,067 bytes +46 The size of the article is above 15,000 words, which according to WP:SIZERULE should "almost certainly should be divided or trimmed." Added appropriate tag.
  • curprev 18:4518:45, 15 February 2024Aintabli talk contribs 325,021 bytes −131 Aljazeera actually gives the total number in addition to the native population. It was also cited in the body, so I have removed the full citation and included the number of Syrian refugees as well as the native population inside a footnote.
  • curprev 18:4018:40, 15 February 2024Aintabli talk contribs 325,152 bytes −554 The sources on the infobox for the pop. in TR appear to have been falsified, because all except one don't include any of such numbers. The source from UNHCR is for the number of Syrian refugees and it is quite dated. I have replaced that with a better more recent source. The other ref is for the Iraqi refugees (10,000) and doesn't include an estimate for the Arab population in the country. The other ref refers to 1-2 million native Arabs. The last one is not WP:RS coming from a politician.
