Artemis Arvin

Artemis Arvin is a fictional character on NBC's daytime drama Days of our Lives. He has been portrayed by Kwesi Boakye.

Character History

Artemis debuted on August 16, 2007. He and his brother, Demarquette Arvin, fell into the care of their step-father, Nick Fallon, after their mother and Nick's soon to be ex-wife, China Lee Fallon, was arrested for solicitation. Nick couldn't bare to see Artimus and Demarquette be put into foster care, so he instead opted to take care of them himself, placing strain on his already fragile on-again off-again relationship with Chelsea Brady.

Nick discovered that Artimus and his brother were highly intelligent -- they enjoyed playing advanced chess, spoke multiple languages, could recite the periodic table of elements, and were extraordinarily polite. Nick became suspicious. Artimus and his brother were extremely guarded about their past and Nick doubted that the hustler, China Lee, could have provided them with such an advanced education on her own.

After China Lee got out of prison, she confirmed Nick's suspicions. She revealed that she was not Artimus' and Demarquette's true mother. Instead, they were sons to a powerful and wealthy man with powerful and wealthy enemies. These enemies would stop at nothing to harm the children, which led to them being placed in China Lee's care. She told Nick that she couldn't care for them anymore and that she was leaving them to Nick.
