Brussels High School, or BHS, is a public six-year combined junior and senior high school located at 128 School Street in Brussels, Illinois, a village in Calhoun County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States. BHS serves the communities of Brussels, Batchtown, Golden Eagle, and Meppen.[1][2] The campus is a 60 mile drive northwest of St. Louis, Missouri, and serves a mixed village and rural residential community.

Athletics

Brussels High School competes in the Pike County Conference and is a member school in the Illinois High School Association. Their mascot is the Raiders, with school colors of royal blue and white. The school has no state championships on record in team athletics and activities. Due to their small enrollment, BHS coops with nearby Calhoun High School for some athletics (Calhoun for Boys Football).[1][3][4]

History

Brussels High School has no known consolidations in the recent past. Surrounding communities may have also possessed high schools at some time which were consolidated into the current BHS. Potential reference/citation:[5][3]
